Last month, the Central Midwest Carpenters held our annual Ohio apprenticeship graduation ceremony to celebrate the accomplishment of 377 graduates. Friends and family of those in attendance gathered in downtown Columbus to watch their loved ones walk across the stage and become journeymen carpenters, millwrights, and floor coverers.
February 2, 2026, friends and family celebrated 377 skilled and dedicated apprentices from the Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters graduating the Ohio Carpenters’ JATC Apprenticeship program. Please join us in congratulating them on their accomplishment and welcoming them into the next phase of their career as journey-level carpenters.
The Central Midwest Carpenters are dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and serve. Throughout 2025, there were many projects, volunteer opportunities, and community engagements that took place. These few examples are just some of the ways that CMRCC Members are constantly stepping up and lending a helping hand to those who need it around us.
The Central Midwest Carpenters is, in its essence, is a family. We are bound together with brotherhood and sisterhood. Some members claim a deeper connection with their fellow members – having multiple generations in the CMRCC. Labor Day is a time to celebrate and honor American workers and the Central Midwest Carpenters Union (CMRCC), representing over 37,000 professional tradespeople in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio, hopes to recruit the next generation of workers interested in building the communities they live in.
