Giving Back, at Scale
The Central Midwest Carpenters are dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we live and serve. Throughout 2025, there were many projects, volunteer opportunities, and community engagements that took place. These few examples are just some of the ways that CMRCC Members are constantly stepping up and lending a helping hand to those who need it around us.
HOUSE OF HOPE
The Central Midwest Carpenters contributed a $75,000 donation for the naming rights on House of Hope’s ‘family pavilion’. While they were extremely grateful for the donation, they were, perhaps, even more grateful for local 224’s MAC committee for helping with the construction of the addition. Uplifting messages of gratitude were left behind on subflooring and wall studs to become part of the foundation of the House of Hope. Helping to not only build, but to support the community from the ground up.
In Louisville, Kentucky, Central Midwest Carpenters representatives and members have taken it upon themselves to partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace and Prosser Highschool/Metro United Way to ensure one of the standards of life: to sleep in a bed at night. These partnerships produce over 300 beds a year for the community. Working with apprentices, retirees, and local schools; the CMRCC is building, installing, and supplying comfortable sleeping arrangements across the Louisville area.
ACCESSIBILITY IS NECESSITY
